New Mohr Gallery exhibit, ‘California Fantasies and Dreams’ opens Sept. 15

CSMA is pleased to present “California Fantasies and Dreams” by Bay Area artist Francisco Ramirez in Mohr Gallery. The exhibition will run from Sept. 15 to Nov. 7 and includes original oil and acrylic paintings that capture human emotion with a surrealist twist. The art will allow us to reflect on how much is true in our everyday lives, according to the artist.

Donor gifts CSMA pristine  Steinway piano

CSMA is grateful for the recent donation of a Steinway grand piano from Ray and Elsa Heald. Cherished for decades by Elsa, a lifetime and passionate musician, the piano is a Model B Classic Grand (6′ 11″) made by Steinway & Sons, considered the world’s most prestigious piano manufacturer. We’re honored to give this rare gift a new home at CSMA where it will be played by thousands of students and guest musicians for public performances, rehearsals, and special events.
