Coming in April, 2024, Mountain View-based nonprofit Community School of Music & Arts (CSMA) will provide art and music programs in a dedicated arts space in Belmont! Our facility features private lesson studios and a large classroom for group classes for all ages. Registration for classes and lessons is now open!

Private music lessons for students of all experience and ages on instruments, voice and music theory.
Music classes for people of all ages and abilities to discover, develop and nurture their creativity.
CSMA offers art classes for students at all levels to develop artistic abilities and learn techniques.

CSMA has a 55-year history of providing access to the arts for Bay Area communities.

Community School of Music and Arts was founded in Mountain View by two art therapists in 1968. The nonprofit has since grown into one of the largest arts organizations in the country, serving tens of thousands of students annually, both onsite at our Mountain View campus and in classrooms all over the Bay Area. Now, we are pleased to join the growing arts community in Belmont! Our mission is Arts for All. We believe that the arts should be accessible to everyone, regardless of ability to pay. In 2022-23, we provided $400,000 in financial aid.
