Staff and Faculty News
Welcome Jiayi Huang
Jiayi Huang joins CSMA as a private lesson instructor (violin and viola). He was raised in China and began learning the violin at the age of six. Showing early talent, he began studying at the Wuhan Conservatory of Music Elementary School. He later expanded his skills, concentrating on the viola and graduated from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. After coming to the United States, he continued his education at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. What he enjoys most as a teacher is sharing his passion and understanding of music with his students and the community.

Welcome Sonja Vasic
CSMA is pleased to welcome Sonja Vasic as a new private lesson instructor (flute). Sonja grew up in Apatin, Serbia, where she studied at the Stevan Hristich Music School. She attended secondary music school in the city of Valjevo, and graduated with a master’s degree in Flute at Belgrade’s University of Arts. As an award-winning soloist and part of chamber ensembles, she has performed across Serbia and Europe.
