How to enroll in private music lessons
CSMA’s world-class music teachers provide expert instruction on more than 20 instruments. Our students are children, teens, adults, and seniors at all skill levels.
To ensure the best possible learning experience, we focus on matching every student with a teacher who aligns with their specific learning style and musical interests. Getting started is simple!
The first step is to complete the Private Lesson Questionnaire. This helps our team get to know you/your child and understand your musical background, goals, and availability. Or, if you prefer to learn more about our program first, you can sign up for a Trial Lesson!
Optional: If you have questions before you begin, you can schedule a CSMA Enrollment Consultation (available virtually, by phone, or in person) to speak directly with a member of our friendly, knowledgeable Music School staff.
We are committed to finding the right match for every student. Once your questionnaire is submitted, our Private Lesson Team will review your information and work closely with you (or your parents) to facilitate teacher placement. We focus on matching your specific learning style and experience level with the most appropriate faculty member.
After you have been matched with a teacher, you will receive instructions to pay your tuition fees and finalize your registration. CSMA offers flexible payment plans and financial aid for qualified students to ensure our programs are accessible to everyone.

Continuing students receive registration notices before each semester and are given priority for selecting lesson dates and times. Contact Student Services at info@arts4all.org if you need assistance with your renewal.

CSMA is committed to matching every student with a teacher appropriate for learning style, level and goals. CSMA’s Private Lesson Team will work closely with new students or their parents to assist with teacher placement and to answer questions.

Continuing Students:
Continuing students receive registration notice prior to each semester. They have priority for time/date selection for their lessons.
Important policies
Refunds – Students may request to withdraw or change teachers within three business days after the second scheduled lesson. Requests for withdrawal must be made in writing by email to the Private Lesson Team, privatelessons@arts4all.org. After the three-day period, no refunds or teacher changes will be made.
Absences and Make-ups – There is no school credit, reimbursement or refund for missed lessons due to a student’s absence. CSMA does not guarantee a make-up for a missed lesson due to a student’s absence. If a lesson is missed due to a teacher’s absence, a make-up lesson will be scheduled. Read our full policies here.
