Teaching Philosophy

I make each lesson personal to the goals of the student, assigning etudes and exercises for areas of technical growth, as well as pieces that help them grow musically. Lessons are tailored to specific goals that students have, ranging from learning to play as a hobby to getting ready for auditions or competitions. I encourage students to connect to the joy and musicality of a piece, and remember that technique serves the music.
