About This Concert
Bagwell & Troy, a local band formed by guitarist Anna Troy and vocalist Kyle Bagwell, will be joined by violinist Tim Lessler to shine a light on Americana Roots music. The performance will include covers of foundational blues and country songs by musicians such as Elmore James and Johnny Cash, as well as original songs written by Bagwell and Troy that build on this foundation.

About the Artists
After meeting in 2023 and sharing their mutual love of American roots music, Kyle Bagwell and Anna Troy decided to get together to learn some Elmore James and Hank Williams tunes. This quickly led to the discovery of a powerful musical chemistry and passion for songwriting that have already produced two albums and an EP. Their music builds on a broad Americana foundation, with strong blues, country, folk, and singer-songwriter influences. Tying the songs together are compelling melodies and moving lyrics that often evoke bygone eras. Anna’s smoky, emotional voice blends perfectly with Kyle’s deep, smooth baritone to bring their songs to life.
- This is a free community concert. Attendees are encouraged to reserve tickets using Eventbrite at the link above. Unticketed walk-ins are permitted based on availability, but ticketed patrons will be seated first. Unused seats will be released 5 minutes before the start time. Seats are unassigned.
- Performances and screenings in Tateuchi Hall are suitable for ages 7 and up. To ensure the best experience for all guests, children should be able to sit quietly during the performance (approx. one hour).
