About This Concert

Reviews describe Axel Schmitt as “a great pianistic talent” and an “artist of mature, extremely rich ability of expression.” He will perform the complete second book of Johann Sebastian Bach’s “The Well-Tempered Clavier,” a compendium of 48 Preludes and Fugues in all major and minor keys. This concert will conclude Schmitt’s performance of the complete “Old and New Testament” of piano repertoire.
