We would like to express our gratitude to all who made the Benefit Concert for CSMA’s expansion project a resounding success. We were honored to have renowned pianist Mari Kodama perform at Tateuchi Hall. The concert raised over $23,000 for the construction of CSMA’s New Wing, which will be named in honor of longtime arts advocates Ruth and Roy Rogers.
We would like to share a quote from a CSMA Merit Scholar family and sponsor of the concert:
“Attending the concert by Mari Kodama was an absolute highlight. It was inspirational to see such an international artist who had experience growing up in multiple cultures in Europe and Asia. We also learned so much about the Sonatas she was performing by Beethoven and Brahms. She clearly cared about the education CSMA is providing to countless students and it made our support of this program through financial contributions and the most important - practice time - feel well worth it.”
