art classes
Do you yearn to create, express yourself and enrich your life? Would you like to experience the joy of making art without worrying about grades, academic schedules or whether you are “good enough”?
CSMA’s art classes allow artists of all ages, aspirations and abilities to explore their creativity and master new skills in a positive, supportive environment. At CSMA, your learning experience is our priority. From young artist to teen/adult classes, our instructional programs are designed to be appropriate for both beginning- and intermediate-level students so that all feel welcome.
CSMA’s comprehensive semester course offerings include drawing, painting, ceramics, mixed media, and more. New media classes offer instruction in digital photography, digital drawing, and more. Small class sizes allow for personalized instruction from CSMA’s talented art educators, whose goal is to help students express their creativity while developing a solid foundation of technical skills.
Art for children as young as 12 months to 5 years of age is the focus of CSMA’s preschool program. And for school-age children wanting to spend vacation time creating art, CSMA also offers over 50 art camps that are held during school vacations (Dec, Feb, Apr) and throughout the summer. To learn more, see our camps page.
All are welcome! At CSMA, we create communities where students learn fundamental art concepts and skills, and can simply enjoy making art.
