| Jacob Brodski earned his MA in
Trumpet Performance and his BA in Trumpet, Piano, and Conducting
from the Gnesin Music Academy in Moscow, Russia. |
| Performing and
Teaching Experience |
| Jacob has taught and performed
in Russia, Japan, Mexico, and the US, and has more than twenty years
of experience teaching children and adults. His students perform
in all of the leading Bay Area youth symphonies. He serves as a competition
judge and is a member of the California Association of Professional
Teachers. Jacob was the first place winner, Concertino Prago (Czech
Republic) and the Russian National Brass Performers' Competition.
He is a member of the International Trumpet Guild. |
| At CSMA |
| Jacob joined the CSMA Music Faculty
in 1994. He teaches private trumpet and piano lessons, as well as
Brass Ensemble classes and workshops. He also prepares students for
the ABRSM exams in both trumpet and piano. |
