Education and Background
Yulia Fomicheva is a cellist, cello teacher, and piano teacher born in Moscow, Russia. She holds a Bachelor and Master of Music from renowned institutions in Moscow and a PsD degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Yulia won numerous international music competitions and has performed as a soloist and as a member of ensembles and orchestras in the US, Russia, China, England, and Germany. Yulia has been teaching privately and at different music institutions including the Musical-Pedagogical Institute in Moscow for more than ten years. She gained extensive teaching experience with teenagers and adults as well as with children from the age of five which she taught private lessons in cello, piano, and music theory. Since moving from Europe two years ago, Yulia has gained more than one year of teaching experience in the United States.
