Teaching Philosophy

Karen enjoys passing on her knowledge of “singing on your body” to achieve vocal freedom. This is based on the excellent teaching she received in Bel canto during her own studies and applied in her professional life. She believes that good breath technique is needed to sing any style. Karen acknowledges that everyone is on their own personal journey to improve their singing. It is very important to her to find out what a person likes to sing and to augment their repertoire based on what is suitable for their voice/ability.
