Classroom Music and Strings Teachers
CSMA has openings for well-qualified, reliable and dedicated CLASSROOM MUSIC and STRINGS teachers. These part-time positions start in Fall 2008.
Responsibilities and Functions:
- Teach music in elementary schools in Santa Clara and San Mateo county schools. Classes meet during the school day.
- Follow the CSMA music curriculum and California State Standards.
- Prepare students to participate in one or two public performances a year.
- Report to the Music in the Schools Director
Qualifications:
Music degree or equivalent. Significant teaching experience and program development. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Compensation
$32.00 - $42.00 per hour, depending on education and experience
