Since opening in March of 2004 with works by internationally-recognized painter and printmaker Enrique Chagoya, the Community School of Music and Arts (CSMA) has organized shows in Mohr Gallery with artists including Inez Storer, Nathan Oliveira, JoeSam, and our own visual arts faculty. In addition to showcasing the work of well-known locally-based artists, Mohr Gallery is a venue for artwork from around the world, from India to Switzerland.
Mohr Gallery is primarily an exhibition space. Our purpose is to bring an eclectic mix of fine art to CSMA's Silicon Valley community, with the hope that our exhibitions can stimulate discussions around art and foster art appreciation amongst people of diverse ages and backgrounds.
In keeping with our goals, it is our pleasure to host artists for lectures that complement our exhibits in Tateuchi Hall.
