Education and Background

Alisa has been fascinated with drawing shapes and creating patterns since childhood. Her background combines applied sciences and visual arts with diverse skills in both traditional and digital illustrations. After graduating with a master’s degree in applied mathematics and studying design theory, Alisa followed her true passion as a fine artist and began her illustrator career. She has participated in the Wharton School’s Creation of Artifacts in Society program. Alisa is a children’s book author and is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.

Teaching Philosophy

Alisa is passionate about teaching young students, specializing in Art History, Drawing, and Painting. “I strongly believe that the arts have a positive, lasting impact on children’s education and skillset development. By fostering creativity in children through visual arts, we ensure that they will also advance in learning Liberal Arts, Science and Technology.”
