Fun at February Camps!

CSMA’s Winter Camps let students explore deep space, learn from the Pop Art greats, wander through beautiful gardens and journey through medieval lands. We introduced an all day Digital Illustration camp where they designed book covers, posters and more!  Take a look at all the artwork made during our 2019 Winter Camps!

Secret Life of Pets, Gr K-1

Students were able to bring their imagination to life with fun animal friends by their side.



In the Artist’s Garden, Gr K-1

They took an imaginary walk through the gardens of famous artists creating works inspired by the plants, flowers and creatures that live there.




Toys of the World, Gr 1-2

Students traveled the world discovering toys from different cultures making their own versions.









The Knight’s Quest, Gr 1-2

Students donned their armor to befriend dragons and journey through medieval times.






California Love, Gr 3-5

They journeyed through California’s history taking inspiration from famous landmarks and time periods.




Space Expeditions, Gr 3-5

They traveled into deep space to find new life using mixed media to guide the way.







Drawing Magic, Gr 4-8

Students brought their ideas to life through perspective, shading and visual textures using an array of mediums. 





Pop Art, Gr 4-8

They explored the bold world of Pop Art alongside artists like Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Wayne Thiebaud. 




Digital Illustration, Gr 5-12

Students learn the process of digital illustration to create book covers, story illustrations and poster designs.
