Fashion Foundations I (Gr 1-3)
Instructor Junghun Yu

Instructor Junghun Yu demonstrates how to use the sewing machine. Students learn basic hand and machine sewing.

Students guided each other to sew their pieces.

Previous projects included felt flower hair clips and hair scrunchies sewn with colorful cotton fabrics.

Students proudly display their finished pin cushions!

Students were also proud of their magnet project, which was a Fashion Illustration lesson.

The objective of the project was to freely express their own image of fashion heads without the fear of drawing portraits based on realistic or manga style. Instead they learned the importance of the proportion of each facial feature.
