Art Teacher - Multi-disciplinary Visual Arts

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Teach arts classes to elementary school age children, teens or adults
  • Attend faculty meetings to enhance faculty and curriculum development
  • Reports to the Visual Arts Program Manager
  • Qualified teachers with a background in working with specific age levels teach: Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Sculpture, Ceramics, Fashion Design


  • Art degree (masters preferred.) 
  • Strong art background especially in drawing and painting
  • Must have prior experience working with children in a classroom setting and strong classroom management skills
  • Commitment to CSMA goals
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
